Biodiversity

Life at the Heart of the Vineyard

The vineyard surrounds a 6.5-hectare nature reserve where no human enters. This space houses a variety of insects such as bees, butterflies, and grasshoppers, as well as deer, badgers, wild boars, and migratory birds, including approximately 300 wood pigeons in winter.

At the heart of the reserve lies a large pond inhabited by carp and a family of otters, an undeniable sign of the absence of pollution. This biological richness is attributed to the fact that the entire vineyard is cultivated to protect the ecosystem of this reserve, contributing to the natural fertility of the vineyard.
